West Asia :- Emerging Chessboard Of Tussle

Diplomatic skills with the hefty burden to maintain with all your surroundings has always been in demand that how much you've been trained your nation to comply with the frequently changing scenarios and how to deploy the perfect minds and perfect ideas at the time when you needed it aptly to be in the centre of resolution and cooperation of the situation and how to resolve the eruptions and maintain a position of eventual anecdotes to your neighborhood.

Usually we've been fascinated towards the meetings of United Nations where all supreme authority meet to bring the critical issue at the centre an organisation of 192 countries often been in news but this time second largest inter-governmental organization OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) caught our sight on something very unusual. A 57 countries organization came on the table to discuss the topics and issue of humanitarian and unstable government of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan didn't attend by 5 of its member viz; Kazakhstan , Turkmenistan , Uzbekistan , Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan and that raised the eyebrows of the members of the OIC and very much of the PRC (People's Republic Of China).

Why so much importance of this 5 small countries where most of the population are of their own native peoples and none of them has more than 5 million of their gross population but visit of their Presidents added a badge of victory on indians diplomacy. These nations are too small but their relativity to the India as of supreme importance. Being the Central Asian nations (according to the Europe and US) strategically important to connect us with the Europe, previously and not yet so deemed Afghanistan still a choice but instability caught all the eyes onto it.

Resourceful regions of this countries with the hefty reserves of Uranium , CNG (Liquified Petroleum Gas) makes them of more importance for other nations such as for China. But is that the only reason to be at the centre of talk and so crucially potent for India ? The reason doesn't always lies in what you see into something ,the reason always lies on the other side of the plethora where you would be able to reach only when you bring your 100 billions of neurons into the play.

With the end of cold war and dissolution of Soviet Union these 5 Nations came into the world map , previously used to be the buffer zone for Soviet Union but since the decades of 90's been the sovereign in the nature and stable enough to make diplomatic ties. However end of the cold war marked United States of America as the supreme power but Russian federation never wanted to loose its control on the central Asian countries in the hope to merge them once more with Russia to be again Soviet Union but changing politics and external pressure kept Russian federation out of it. At then time China wasn't a problem at all cause under Deng Xioping China was gradually evolving as the financial powerhouse.

As the passage of time progress China's tendency of expansionst dragon surfaced but initially and till now it's more of soft power where Communist govt. bring them in the clutch of extreme debt trap and that caught the eyes of Russia and India . Like China brought many of the South Asian nations and very few of the African nations under the control most common known projects of China are CPEC (China Pakistan Economic Corridor) and BRI (Belt and Road Initiative) or popularly known as OBOR and recently development of Eastern Port Terminal in Sri Lanka brings the unprecedented merging of the nations against them. China gradually started to deepen its feet into the soil of above 5 countries and raised its trade volume over $150 billion marked its healthy presence and at the same time India remains reckless with just $2 Billion.

So in the sense to contain Chinese presence visit of the president are of utmost importance. Reason of concern not only for India but for Russian federation too cause they are okay with expansions of Chines in the South Asia but they don't found themselves in the position of comfort in the Central Asia. Borders of these countries are subservient to the Russia Chinese presence makes it more vulnerable cause Russian well aware that Chinese only intersted in the profit making and they may put something against the Russians into the minds and Russians ain't in the position of one more dissolution and instability as they are confronting it already with Chechnya and at Crimean Border with Ukraine. And Chinese presence will likely to be close the door for india to Europe and then India will be surrounded from all sides with unpredictable antiquities.

India need to collaborate more with these countries and need frequent visit of diplomatic powerhouses and frequent talk in the vulnerable issues and need to keep them on the track against the Chinese intentions. India need to embolden its trade ties , cultural activities as these regions has of importance because Babur belonged to Samarkand means could be of importance. Cop-up with Russian to strike the chords of these nations but Russian shouldn't see these region as to bring them under its control rather then to make healthy ties in order to keep stability and less Chinese presence on their resources and sovereignty of the nations and calling the Presidents of these countries on the Republic Day seems India's masterstroke.
