National Education Policy ,2020 , a perfect try to keep the childrens out from getting any orthodox imposition of education system. It will be a free fall for upcoming generation who want to shape their future on it's own term and on the basis of their interest. Ridiculous padagogy of definite curriculum bounded them in the chain of ultimate negative creativity. And now if common people sought that ,there is unemployment everywhere ,then you must look deep into the education system of India. "5+3+3+4" formula holds a diverse and strong hope as it divided as first 3 years would be foundational with grade 1-2 as additional , grade 3-5 would be Perpitiory , grade 6-8 would be Middle and 9-12 divided in two phase with first 9-10 and then 11-12 . Looking enhanced enough to strong the base with extra curricular activities in the primary and foundational grades. As HRD Ministry turns out to be fully Educational Body with the name of "Ministry Of Education" gives us a very articulated hope that this government really want to bring the transition in modern day education and want to cop-up with European style education system.
In last 150yrs everything changed from Technology to Infrastructure , Cars became supercars , wired telephone became mobile phones , vaccum tube inserted computer into microchip inserted laptops but what not changed our education system with same classroom teachings. But this NEP surely gonna change the things (fingers's crossed). Atleast something is good than nothing. Though we need to implement it very effectively that the bliss of this policy not become disguise. From base to top to shape and self-mould ready for every upcoming futures.
Basic of anything is it's primary stage as Indian govt. started Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan to educate the children of 6-14yrs comes only scheme in our mind which turn out to be a minor successful, however two more schemes like 'Madhyamik Siksha Abhiyan' and 'Model School'. As we could see enrollment in primary classes at 90.7% , but it goes on decreasing from class 3-8 comes down to 79.6% and from here to University level it remains at 51.5% (according to the report of Global Education Report). Foundational or kindergarten classes didn't work as we thought about it. We tend to teach them theoretical rather than practical activities. Untill you don't try with the reality how would you ensure that whatever I taught him/her gonna ensure a bright future for them.
One more shot to target that the allocation of budgetary boost which has been declared would be 6% of total GDP , which is looming currently at 2.9% , which is the lowest among the BRICS country . Even States showed reluctancy towards the allocation of fund for education ,,only Tamil Nadu fulfilled the requirement and Uttarakhand matched up a little bit. Bihar , Odisha , Jharkhand , Uttar Pradesh not finding any benefits in investing the monetary help in educational institutions. So many school , universities not in the condition to do any more research works ,perelious example of Delhi University last year, where more than 100 research works abruptly aboted in lack of fund in University fund.

Basic things like numeracy , letters recognition need to be taught in very playing way as this policy perfectly state it. According to the Google report more than 20-25% students of class 6-10 even don't know to pronounciate the english words and thorough reading , more than 30% students has problems in basic maths. According to the report of HRD minister more than 50 million children currently dropout from the elementary education and about 90 million from primary to secondary level. Isn't it a complete failure of Indian education system which was proposed by Charles Babington Macaulay as we proud ourselves to be called "Macaulay's Putra" and another part of our society even don't know to pronunciate.
Our education system only believes in bookish knowledge without any outdoor activities like acting , painting , gamings , dancing and many more. If you get deep dive into the education system of our so called neighbour China ,you will surprised that their presence in elementary school to higher secondary continuously increasing not because of education itself , it's because of extra curricular activities as well like swimming , gymnastics ,so that they make them ready for the Olympic games.
Merger of UGC and AICTE would be a look forward thing that how one generalised graduation and technical education works at one common goal. Teacher Student Ratio (TSR) from 30:1 to 25:1 also a fine thing to achieve the goal of every individual students. But we need to look deep into it as to deployment of teacher through transparent way and proper exam of NET aur B.ed ,which requires to add the quality teaching to childrens. Articulated programme for graduation from minor certificate to full degree certificate will pitch a challenge in front of govt , that to deploy these less skilled students in work place but in this policy skill development through teaching pattern would be sufficient to let them in.

Best part of this education policy is that till class 7 you've to study everything and get to know what's your solid instinct to pursue your future in. Choosing stream from class 8 will give a new way to the students who are currently learning the subjects which they don't want to learn at all. This pattern reminds me of Google CEO Sundar Pichai's statement at IIT Kharagpur , when he said "InAmerica till graduation the students in United States don't know what they are compatible with ,so they try so many things after graduation and that's why you see a Silicon Valley over there." Choosing stream of their own interest surely keep them entact with their goals.
Testing pattern which has been changed to an objective pattern remind me the quotation of Fredrich J. Kelly's (inventor of modern day standardized testing) quote that :- "These Tests are two crude to be used". We were in dire need of such education system which finally came from government's pandora box after 34 years long wait. It holds the capacity to curtail the unemployment rate which currently at 7.8% in Urban and 5.2% in rural areas with overall rate of 6.1% via educating India .More than 30% of youth not even proper education or employment and these are the backlogs of old pattern of education system. What government need to ensure is the perfect implementation of this policy with high ambition to acquire more brain gain in upcoming future to have a Silicon Valley in India.
We need to keep in mind that education is the core factor of Human Development Index (HDI). Degrading education policy interconnected to the multidimensional and acute poverty which lurking in India. We must ensure that atleast this policy not become a dead mound where our future generation dance on looming threat of unemployment and poverty with acute shortage of education and information. We need to be more focused on Digitization and e-learning platform , which this budget clearly stated ,that this would be really an extra wing for the students.
