On Stake :- Diplomatic Expansion

Modern day world where on one side we take oath to safeguard the national interest and focus on collective identity and above all inciting positive sense of brotherhood by defying all the sense of indulging in any sort of battle to satisfy their greed to be called themselves as super power has been the most common topic of discussion but we are not as great to go with it , so sometimes we choose to be absolute vice versa.

Russia and Ukraine crisis a perfect example that we ain't get rid of the idea of superiority. Newspaper has been garnished on the war footing excercise of both the countries meanwhile missing the link in all between keeping aside the vulnerable topic of the fame game of Russia. Escalation and de-escalation nothing but just to make sure that their demands must be heard by the nations who thinks that Russia lost his glories of cold war. Amidst all these Ukrainian persistent approach to include in the NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) a child of cold war era and irrelevant in modern day given extra fuel to Russia's jeopardizing authority.

Crimes invasion of 2014 was nothing but a military conquest to show the American powers and Europe that you could be anything but still I'm enough to do whatever in my reach or somewhere beyond that. Ukraine's main urgency has nothing but the Nord Stream 2 shell gas pipeline and keeping it in middle of that Ukraine's crying that they are a victim of Russian military suppression and cross border infiltration and Kremlin's intervening approach in their political affairs. If there would be Nord Stream 2 layed down from the Ukrainian territory then Ukraine's govt gonna get $2 billion as transit duty paid by Russia and as of now Russia layed down through the Baltic Sea to the Germany which much smaller and less expensive route for both the exporting and importing countries.

All the stake comes on the Minsk Agreement , where Russia and Ukraine agreed mutually that Russia will not interfere in domicile politics of Ukraine and Ukraine on the other side not gonna raise the demand on the inclusion of Crimea once again with Ukraine. But the thing is that, since Vladimir Putin took over as the prime authority of Kremlin and making himself more powerful by continuous amendment of the constitution nothing seems stable in the very surroundings of Russia. Since Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko admitted Russia as the main superpower and got the support of Kremlin sense of fear of territorial annexation made former Soviet union members countries in anguish and disdained. However Russian tone says that the eastern side of Ukraine and Crimea has the Russian ethnic people , so they deserved to be the part of the Russian flag and by this allegations came from the Ukrainian side that Russian creating hazardous situation in Ukraine by supporting the Vlodimir Zelensky Ukrainian President's opponent as the Putin's card of play to make him the centre of power in Ukraine.

All in between American side playing their diplomatic skills overthere and that too with the interest of nothing but just to invoke the NATO on the border a clear cliche that they ain't be good and can't be helpful at all, as we all know the track record in Afghanistan , Vietnam , Iraq. NATO on the border with Russia means Russian federation dream could be in the coffin of territorial expansion , so Putin don't give a damn to this idea which can hamper the area and create something like Balkan Conundrum. Statements are quite contradictory in itself as Germany says there would be no NATO support to Ukraine in case of Russian invasion but on the other side American force deploying their arms overthere raised the eyebrows of the Kremlin.

But not all went wrong , since French President Emenuel Macron ans Germen chancellor Olof Scholz brilliantly tackle the situation. Macron's one on one talk with Putin definitely down sizing the hype of war as Putin reiterated that European media added spices to the Kremlin's statement cause Russian don't want to invade at all. Pursuit of power lurking above all but you can't forget Germany , Angela Merkel's era just finished off and new responsibilities came on Olof Scholz shoulder he gone with that quite amazingly. Russian threatening to Ukraine put Nord Stream 2 in danger as at that time when all was in the oppose of Angela Merkel to implement this project yet Merkel gone with it but also reiterated that she respect the territorial integrity of Ukraine , in case Russia invade project will be smear down. On the note of cancelling the project Putin got the sense of something huge financial losses he agreed to abstain the invasion. What Ukraine got ? Absolutely nothing as neither they got the Nord Stream 2 pipeline nor Inclusion in NATO.

When everything turned to Russia , in United Nation India abstain itself on the voting if Ukraine and Russia, you might think it's a skillful diplomatic move of the Indian govt but thing is not that simple as it looks.. Abstaining from vote means India pitched once again Non-aligned Movement a Nehru's child but not that that subjective this time. As recent visit of Putin in Winter Olympic where India boycotted it diplomatically , definitely two the nation taken it to new high of the relationship and it's a point of hassles for India cause Russian federation shifting towards China means double threat to indian sovereignty firstly , Russia as an old good friend on the brink of new enemy and Russians have confidential information about India can ease the way for China to manipulate India. So what India could do from here is that keep a hawk eye on the move of Russians strides to China and progress as the situation demands cause America as an your aligh you can't depend on them too much due to geo strategic distance.
