Artificially Intelligence :- Paradigm Shift or Capitalist Sentiment
Humans never failed to astonish the natural laws, although sometimes they know the miracle they are doing will end up in absolute negative or neutral outcome but hunch of humans propels them to do so. We must be subservient to the required proportionality. Cosmo has always been better at manipulating you and to deviate you from agility to fragility but to stick with the requirements gives a possible and positive outcome.
Like we say that "Data is the new oil in the modern age of technology" to almost do anything from construction, collaboration, competition , comparison to devastation of entire belonging to of a nation to the other, same in the sense in the ultra-high age of technology Artificial Intelligence seems shadowing the impact of data on by and large basis, where daata need a well researched and analysed pattern by an individual or organization, Artificial Intelligence needs none of the above to create something unimaginable. The way human transformed the computer into a giant of self-moulded technology an eye opener for the entire humanity. In the year 1956, at the Dartmouth Conference, Massachusetts University of Technology , John McCarthy given the world a new word "Artificial Intelligence", well not everyone gave their eye on this particular subject and no one would have ever thought that this technology gonna take the world in absolute phase of unbelievable transformation, as every technology had to face criticalities with respect to their time.
The recent report by NASSCOM :- "Unlocking value Data and AI" :- Data and AI have potential to add $400-500 billion dollars to India's GDP by 2025. As per the Global and National AI vibrancy ranking of Stanford University Human centred Artificial Intelligence, "India ranked at 22nd amongst the countries with respect to AI talent concentration. Well no surprise in this, that why India came among the world's top AI talent hunt , thanks to the technological revolution by Rajeev Gandhi who shown the seed of Technology in India by investing heavily in Service sector. AI creating new dimension in almost every sphere of human lives in the form of "Big Data" by keeping the complex and heavy loaded data into the simplest form to make the reach so easy for the related person which's making it more adaptable and comprehensively easy to have, where supercomputers not in reach of everyone's, AI emerged as more powerful plus more cost compatible for those who are really dealing with modern age technologies.
NITI Aayog in 2018 released a National Strategy for AI in India, confirms that govt. is looking forward to invest and build it more better in upcoming decades. NITI Aayog identified 5 sectors where AI can really transform the modern way into a new well decorated and less glitch nation. These 5 sectors include : Agriculture, Health, Education, Logistics and Smart Cities. Defunct sector of agriculture might see new agri-oriented innovation to boost cultivation as AI can self-calculate the datas, so it will be a better option to categorise the agri-sector according to time specific and season specific crop cultivation for the best output. By introducing AI in healthcare first most important thing to be to analyse and collect the extremely scattered data of health beneficiaries at one place like govt introduced e-Sanjeevni portal, to access all the previous reports of the patients at one place. India's current logistic cost stands almost 13-14% of total GDP comapre to US and Europe of 6-7% of the GDP, so making it more pallatebal may reduce the cost by keeping special monitoring on the highways and check-points. India's mission to make atleast 100 smart cities may get to see new thrust as as of now govt has just finished by making just 22 smart cities especially in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities, so by introducing AI this can be done to the lower cities too. Education sector can see total rehaul, where education is still more or less still happening in the classrooms, AI can make it more innovative, data driven, personal improvement and updated with new generation in need of curriculum, where it takes year to revise the syllabus as of now. NITI Aayog estimated by implementing AI at larger basis means a 15% boost for GVA for the economy by 2035.
But does AI really meant for human lifestyle in positive transformation. According to Forbes, the most recent research indicates that a combination of AI and big data can automate nearly 80% of all physical work, 70% of data processing work, and 64% of data collection tasks., The bottom 90 percent, especially the bottom 50 percent of the world in terms of income or education, will be badly hurt with job displacement. AI will not only displace the job but by displacing thee job means putting more people into the vicious cycle of poverty and lack of basic amenities and hoarding of power to manipulate the larger section into the hands of the most powerful people, who can start exploiting the people by paying them less wages as of now. India MSME sector contributes almost 40-45% of the GDP, where more than 20 crore people are working in industrial sectors and by introducing AI in this sector can easily eliminate almost 60-70% jobs and leaving the workers with no job and in financial distress and this will end up into the acute poverty and debt trap. Where India's workforce will rise to 1.08 billion by 2035 as of 880 million by now, will widen the unemployment rate more vigorously. India has some serious digital divide, where only 2 out of 10 people have access to internet, AI will hard nut to crack to take it to the bottom strata of the population and educate them about the tech and aware them about it.
PriceWaterhouseCoopers estimated that “artificial intelligence technologies could increase global GDP by $15.7 trillion, a full 14%, by 2030. That includes advances of $7 trillion in China, $3.7 trillion in North America, $1.8 trillion in Northern Europe, $1.2 trillion for Africa and Oceania, $0.9 trillion in the rest of Asia outside of China, $0.7 trillion in Southern Europe, and $0.5 trillion in Latin America. China is making rapid strides because it has set a national goal of investing $150 billion in AI and becoming the global leader in this area by 2030. But adding monetary value to the GDP can really be access as the single most admire matter to rely upon? Definitely not, As in case of India, CMIE data showed that India's current unemployment rate lurking between 7-8% and in by adding value to GDP doesn't matter, cause India's GDP growing at the top but we didn't see any major decline in the unemployment , as major automobile sectors, tech giants are swaying their tilt to the Artificially automatic assembly line, it's like the invention of spinning jeny in the England, when it had introduced the person who employed in the thread making industry cut the workforce by almost 90% in 19th century early decades. And very recently OpenAI introduced ChatGPT taking the world,it took just 4 days to become the most downloaded app in the history of application by crossing 10 million users. Created panic among the content writers, publishers and many more creative jobs.
Way forward :-
(1) first of all to ensure the there shouldn't be any job loss for the middle class or labour class and no exploitation.
(2) AI has some ethical issues too, although AI can self-programed itself but can't think like human beings at all, neither has sympathy nor empathy you can expect from AI.
(3) Make people aware about the AI and its pros and cons and making them learn only about the positive use of AI.
(4) Need to build more critical infrastructure as most of the nation haven't any financial viability to implement the AI for nation.
(5) The foremost challenge will be to ensure the Critical Information Infrastructure by the interested nation, to ensure more security to the infras. like Banks, Insurance firms, Railways , Dightal Identity,as this can easiy be manipulated and vulnerable to data access.
(6)Countries must make strict regulatory laws like India made IT Act to ensure the privacy of the public data and Europe's General Data Protection Regulation.
(7) Address corporate ethics as making AI more efficient can be very exploitative in nature plus whatever AI is, it isn't more than just a algorithmic system.
(8) Making AI sector more gender inclusive as study published by NESTA found that only 13.83% of AI research publications are authored by women. Tech giants like Google and Facebook have only 10-15% women AI specialist.
